Super soft cotton / bamboo jersey mask, made with comfort and prolonged wear in mind. They're made with 2 layers of fabric, with soft genuine elastic ear loops. They do not have a filter pocket.
Made in Canada out of 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton. The stretch of the jersey allows for a tight but comfortable fit around the face. The current run of masks INCLUDES A BUILT-IN NOSE WIRE. This may not always be the case for our masks in the future so if you wear glasses, this run is especially for you!
These masks come in one size intended to fit as universally as possible. They measure 7.5" wide x 5" high. We've found this fits most women's faces comfortably, however it may feel a bit small on men or those who know themselves to have a big head / issues with normally sized hats! For sanitary reasons these masks are FINAL SALE.
The most effective way to care for these is to wash them by hand in warm water, scrubbing with soap for 20 seconds much like you would vigorously wash your hands. Lay flat or hang to dry, in direct sunlight if possible. In a pinch, these can be thrown in the wash with your regular cold water laundry cycle, however be aware that much like cotton t-shirts they may shrink if washed in the machine with hot water. We do not recommend putting them through the dryer for the same reason.
Our masks are clearly not medical grade, and are not intended to replace social distancing measures or N-95 / surgical masks. They're useful for helping to avoid absent-mindedly touching your face as well as containing potential germ spread, which is especially important as we learn more about asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19. We make no medical claims regarding protection from virus as a result of wearing these masks. The advice remains to stay home as much as possible, regardless of whether or not you feel unwell.
